Cream City Cycle Club members have been meeting annually for a weekend of tent camping at Hartman Creek State Campground near Waupaca since the early 1990s for all sorts of pleasant reasons.  There are plenty of quiet, scenic, country roads for bicycling, guaranteed, tasty homemade pies at the Crystal Cafe in Iola on one of the bike routes, possibly more pies on the same ride at a fireman’s tractor pull in nearby Ogdensburg, and nightly camaraderie featuring each day’s events around a cozy campfire.
