Be cool. Enjoy a cool ride along lake Michigan. It's always cooler near the lake. And there's only one short hill to climb. Rest stop at the Dockside Deli at the marina in Port Washington. Rest rooms and water are available in Virmond park.
Let's enjoy the scenic park starting point after the ride, by packing a picnic lunch or picking up a sub sandwich and beverage en-route to Virmond park; to stash in your cooler to enjoy after the ride. You might bring a camp chair just in case, but usually the covered pavilion by the restrooms is available for us to use.
I-43 Mequon Road ramps are closed. Exit northbound I-43 at Port Washington Road and go across intersection to Katherine drive. Then Right on Sedler. Left on lake shore drive to park.
