Door County Camping Ride 2022 September 15th to Sunday September 18th
Once again the Cream City Cycle Club will be returning to Door County Wisconsin. As in two years ago we will be returning to Potawatomy State Park located just outside of Sturgeon Bay at group site B. The site offers an excellent selection of grassy spots for your tent. The immediate area affords you a fine choice of restaurants. It also offers a better chance to explore the lower Door an area often skipped. The weekend will coincide with the Peninsula Century that will take place out of Sister Bay on Saturday September 17th. Further details can be found at www.peninsulacentury.com. The clubs has several q- sheets available on the website. I will also have a limited amount of paper q-sheets starting out from the park. If you wish I will have Q-sheets that start out from Peninsula State Park. With Green Bay on the west side of the peninsula and Lake Michigan on the east the Door offers the bicyclist some of the most scenic areas of the state to bike in. Although there are flat roads along the coast and up the center of the peninsula going from one to the other offers the challenge we often need in our lives. Hope to see you in the door.
