Scenic ride through the Northern Kettle Moraine Forrest. Route follows county roads through Mauthe Lake, Tamarack Wetlands, Long Lake, the Milwaukee River low lands and Dundee with a stop at Parnell Tower.  Be sure to bring your camera and climb the tower.
The top of the 60-foot wooden observation tower is the highest point of elevation in the Kettle Moraine State Forest. It offers a panoramic view of the forest and surrounding farmland. On a clear day, one can see about 25 miles.

Rest stops at the Exxon station in Dundee ( 9 miles ) and at Parnell Tower ( 18 miles ).
( Toilets and water are available at the tower park. )                       

Lunch / after ride social at The Twisted Pair Bar and Grill over looking Beechwood Lake. ( They are expecting us. )  Indoor and outdoor dining areas.

Park and set-up in the gravel lot on the corner of Cnty. A and Cnty. S  directly across the street from the Twisted Pair.
